The lakes of the Val di Chiana

Lovers of nature, fishing, birdwatching and fish-based gastronomy cannot fail to visit the typical lakes of the Vadichiana area.

From the natural reserve of Lake Montepulciano, a "wild" environment where you can spot birds of various species, to the more contemplative and relaxing Lake of Chiusi, and finally to the large Lake Trasimeno, the Valdichiana offers lake environments of different nature and rare beauty.

In addition to the 3 most famous ones mentioned above (described in more detail below), fishing enthusiasts can find small bodies of water scattered in various areas of the Valdichiana, such as the lakeFisherman's Oasisas Alberoro or the Venere lake of the Azienda Agricola Venere in Foiano della Chiana.
